In Harare, a new wave of young women is stepping into the future of business with confidence and creativity. At the Empower Her Camp, hosted by Royal Diadems and its founder Tendayi Ndoro, Digi Learn conducted an innovative workshop titled “Launch Your Brand: AI-Powered Entrepreneurship & Digital Marketing with Canva.”
More than 30 teenage girls took part in this life-changing experience, gaining practical skills in artificial intelligence (AI), graphic design, and digital marketing.
What the Girls Learned
-
AI Tools for Business – The participants were introduced to ChatGPT for idea generation, DALL·E for creative visuals, and Grammarly for polished writing. They saw how AI can help brainstorm product names, write social media captions, and design brand stories in minutes.
-
Canva Design Skills – The workshop gave hands-on training on Canva, where girls designed logos, posters, and social media graphics for their “dummy companies.”
-
Launching a Brand with Strategy – Beyond design, the girls learned how to define their brand identity, identify their target audience, and develop marketing strategies using AI analytics.
-
Team Entrepreneurship Experience – Each group acted as both client and service provider, allowing them to pitch, collaborate, and deliver real-world campaigns.

Why This Matters
With unemployment rising and entrepreneurship becoming essential, giving girls digital tools at a young age is a game-changer. The workshop did more than teach software—it planted seeds of confidence, innovation, and leadership.
Digi Learn’s commitment to empowering youth with future-ready skills makes this initiative a cornerstone for building Zimbabwe’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
